Service Auditing

Our company provides plenty of managing and auditing services for your technology. It’s easy for people to accidently sign up for things that don’t use, or pay for things that they no longer need. Sometimes, people even get charged multiple times over what they should be for a simple service. We’re here to help change that!

Printers

Deciding between using a printing vendor or an in-house printer depends on your needs. Vendors handle high-volume or specialty tasks but can be costly for ongoing projects. In-house printing offers more control, faster turnaround, and lower long-term costs but requires investment in equipment. Not all vendors are equal, so researching options is important.

ISPs

  • Salespeople try to sell you more than you need for speeds.  In one situation we had a sales rep that we had to have Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) fiber for $2300+ / month because the client was a hotel.  This was after we used their own paperwork to prove that the client was paying for twice the speeds they actually needed.  Today this hotel is running on coax comfortably for under $200 / month.

  • Also, that internet cell backup the ISP gives you is garbage 90% of the time.  Just ask the installers and they'll laugh.  But we can do emergency cell backups right if that's what you want.

Telephone providers

Telephone providers are an essential part of communication systems, but recent changes have made some services more expensive. The FCC recently removed cost reduction measures for elevator phone lines, which has caused the cost of analog lines to rise significantly. As a result, businesses are now facing monthly charges of $200 to $300 for these lines, which were previously much more affordable. This shift has forced many organizations to reassess their communication systems and consider alternatives, such as VoIP (Voice over IP) solutions, which are often more cost-effective. These changes highlight the growing need to evaluate telephone providers and explore modern technologies that can help reduce costs while maintaining reliable service.

Extra Services

Do you have an extra Trello subscription sitting around that you’ve forgotten about? Maybe a Dropbox account you’re no longer using but still paying for? It’s not uncommon for these subscriptions to slip through the cracks!

TVs

Do you have the setup you really need? Maybe an extra streaming service you’re not using? Or a TV feature you paid for but never use? It’s worth checking!

IT Process and Policy Development

Processes and Policies
Struggling to create IT processes? It’s common to be unsure about things like “What happens when XYZ occurs?”, “Who do we call for issues?”, or “How do we order new equipment or services?” Without clear processes, things can get chaotic. We can help you build simple, efficient systems that ensure everything runs smoothly and consistently.

Centralizing Accounts
Do you have a system in place to ensure you’re not overpaying for accounts or subscriptions you no longer use? It’s easy to forget about forgotten accounts, leading to unnecessary costs. Centralizing account management allows you to track what’s in use, prevent overcharges, and keep everything organized.

Contract Tracking
Are all your contracts stored in one place, and do you know when they expire? Having a central repository for contracts helps avoid surprises when terms end or need to be renewed. Tracking contract expiration dates also ensures you can renegotiate terms or explore better options before renewal.

Contract Reviews
Is your service price going up without warning? Many ISPs and service providers increase rates after the first year, betting that you won’t notice or take action. Regularly reviewing your contracts helps you catch these price hikes early and gives you the opportunity to shop around for better deals.
